The Cherry Blues Project

The Cherry Blues Project (TCBP) Was formed in Buenos Aires in 2001. Since then we independently released more than 120 album and 300 singles. In 2007 we started releasing music on netlabels (Schnurstrax, Resting Bell, Jacobino, Clinical Archives, Crna Zemlja, Sudamerica Electrónica, etc.)

We think that the real TCBP began in that 2007, when we started to records electronic and ambient albums. These albums paved the way for our current releases, and In Memory of Roman Tate is one of the best albums of the "current era" of the band.

The album "In Memory of Roman Tate: Selections" is about the diaries of the fictional journalist "Roman Tate". The listener accompanies Roman on his excursions to the criminal underworld of Buenos Aires in the 1970s. The story is prepared purely musically and comes without narrative means.
