Nikea Bustla is building a reputation as one of the more progressive sound sculptors in Central Europe. His music combines experimental sound design, haunting melodies and pulsing rhythms to take the listener on an emotional rollercoaster with no fixed destination.

Initially released on Luna The Cat (2013), the track “Plaidz” was notable for its striking, jarring textures and ghostly beats. In the expanded re-release of the “Plaidz” EP, Nikea Bustla has brought together some of his regular collaborators to add their own unique interpretations.

Jean Blanc (CZ) offers a mix that serves as the calm before the dark storm of Mark Masuhr’s (D) powerful beats and bass. Mark Drifter (UK) slows the tempo while raising the pressure. Nikea Bustla’s reflective mix then takes things full circle.
