Käpt´n Mies - Hits Vol.1

Musician André Meinlschmidt, known under his pseudonym Käpt'n Mies, is re-releasing his album "Hits Vol.1“. Originally a 10-inch vinyl record, the album is now available digitally and features six atmospheric tracks in the Ambient and Electronica genres.

Meinlschmidt, who is over 50 and has an impressive musical background in the hardcore scene, played all the instruments on this album himself. As the former bassist of the 90s hardcore band King Vulture, "Hits Vol.1“ showcases a completely different side of his artistry.

On this album, Meinlschmidt, aka Käpt'n Mies, takes on the bass and banjo, while all other sounds are produced directly from the DAW console. The result is a captivating auditory experience that blurs the lines between electronic soundscapes and hand-played instruments.

A special highlight of this re-release is the cover artwork, which was designed by his daughter Dawn. Her drawing complements the sonic worlds created by Käpt'n Mies and adds a deeply personal touch to the album.
