Kurgan Hors

Kurgan Hors is the pen name of Davide Billo, born in 1989 in Verona (Italy). Electronic composer and multi-instrumentalist, creates soundtracks for imaginary worlds. He likes to be called narrator instead of musician. Sound is his words.

His interest in music began in about 2006, starting with punk-rock and expanding to post-punk, shoagaze, psychedelia, darkwave, noise and industrial. nevertheless, traditional folk music, in different forms, always held a special place in his heart. He learned to play bass, guitar, synth and to record songs in his homestudio. In 2011 he formed the industrial band “Kolyma”, trying to sing the disaffection among young people.

In 2012 he also played the bass in "Shamalayan", an italian psychedelic rock band. Because of some internal problems, neither of the two bands survived. Therefore was born Kurgan Hors.
